Fáilte Ireland is the National Tourism Development Authority. Its aim is to increase the contribution of tourism to the economy by facilitating the development of a competitive and profitable tourism industry.

They help develop products for both the domestic and overseas markets and promote Irish holidays, as well as supporting enterprise development in Irish tourism, promoting best practice in operations, quality and standards and facilitating investment in tourism infrastructure. Fáilte Ireland also builds human resource capability in the industry, investing in training provision and standards in public education as well as through their own training network of outreach centres and through their own executive and management development programmes.
