South Kerry Development Partnership (SKDP) works to promote and assist the development of sustainable, vibrant communities in South Kerry and to improve the quality of life of people living there through the provision of social and economic opportunities. SKDP works in partnership with state agencies, social partners, local elected members and community and voluntary representatives. The Partnership’s objective for Enterprise and Employment is to promote economic development by protecting and increasing employment, by fostering the development of new and existing enterprises and by helping individuals to access employment in the area.
