The Health and Safety Authority is the body with responsibility for securing safety, health and welfare at work and operates under the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 2005. Working in partnership with employers and employees, their responsibility is to ensure that safety and health in the workplace is a key priority for everyone, covering every type of workplace and work.
