The main purpose of the County Childcare Committee is to assist in the co-ordination of childcare, both nationally and locally and to assist in the prioritisation of funding. Two of the key aims are to increase the supply of childcare services and facilities and to support and develop local countywide networks of childcare providers. An information pack for childminders and a database of childcare providers are available on the website. A resource library is available, including leaflets which can be downloaded from the Resources section of the website.
