KTN Skillnet brings companies together and cuts down their training costs dramatically without losing the quality. Their aim is to provide Kerry-based enterprises with high quality, affordable training delivered in the Kerry region and available to all sectors of the private business community. All training is funded up to 75% by KTN; members decide on the type of training to ensure it is relevant to their needs. Seminars and social networking events are also organised so that members can meet and learn from their peers. Courses in 2009 include Positive Thinking, Leading in Difficult Times, Business Planning Simplified, Customer Care, Powerpoint, Occupational First Aid, Persuasive Communication and more.
