Tender for development of Farmers' Markets

Kerry County Enterprise Board is looking to undertake further work on the development of the Farmers’ markets in Kerry. Interested parties should submit a tender document outlining a programme of work that would help to advance the development of the markets within the County.

Submissions should outline a programme of work and costings that would encompass the areas of:

1. The development of new markets within the County eg Killarney, Castleisland, Killorglin

2. The provision of support to existing markets

3. The provision of training to stall holders and committees

4. Advice in relation to market rights within the County

5. Proposals in relation to market trusts or alternative structures to support markets in the County

Note it is envisaged that the total resources available for this project will not exceed €10000. The closing date for applications is Friday 26th February.
